I make sales from Medium, Twitter, Instagram. Now YouTube is added to the list as well.

But making sales directly from the platform may sound easy but in reality, it isn't.

Using a link in the bio won't work. But this will ->

  1. Pick a platform - Any of your choice. for writers, I suggest Medium or Twitter.

  2. Collect emails - I use Gumroad.

  3. Promote - Create unique pieces of content for your subscribers. And then promote your work - ebooks, services, etc

One thing I have realized is that collecting emails early helps a lot when there is a change in an algorithm or somehow your tweets, videos, and posts aren't getting views.

Consider email lists as your ATM.

Your bank account will thank me later!
