How I Made Over $2K on Fiverr as a Freelancer

dear writers, add one more income stream to your portfolio

Writers often depend on ebooks to pay their bills. They expect that their ebooks will make them full-time income forever.

I agree with one thing that ebooks, like any other writer, have now become my major source of income and but I cannot deny the fact that we all need more income streams as well.

Money from our writing can be slow sometimes. It takes months for our first payment to arrive. And for this reason, I started selling my writing services (and a few non-writing services as well) on Fiverr.

I started selling my services on Fiverr

I started my first account during the pandemic times and I wasn’t much serious back then.

The first time I got my first order, I was overwhelmed and excited.

The first time I received the money in the bank, this proved that I could do Fiverr forever!

I have two Fiverr accounts

Two Fiverr accounts? Yes, that’s true. I have written in detail about my two Fiverr accounts in this book — Fiverr for Writers.

What about those who want to sell other services besides writing?

I have a chapter dedicated to those who want to sell other non-writing services as well. I have given simple tactics that I used to find my own selling categories.

My Fiverr Earnings

Remember the last time, I updated you about my earnings? It was around $200 (working hours only Saturdays and Sundays).

Now see the updated ones. Yes, it takes time but once we focus, we’ll arrive there in no time!

Conclusion

I often go on and off with Fiverr because I now consider it a side hustle. It’s nice to see a little message from Fiverr every now and then — “You’ve received an order from..”!
